B009 Peneco beach  

Located in the middle of the town, it is accessed by a tunnel bored through the cliff connecting the beach to Rua 5 de Outubro. It is also possible to get to the beach using the stone steps leading down from the Esplanada Dr. Frutuoso da Silva. The beach is 1 kilometre long and separated from Praia dos Pescadores by a cliff.
