Situated in the picturesque village of Olhos de Água, this beach is named after the famous ‘olheiros’ – freshwater springs that gush up from the sand flats at low tide. The beach has a harbour where fishermen anchor their traditional fishing boats, and has an imposing reddish sand and clay cliff as a backdrop. The parking area has spaces for people with reduced mobility. It is accessed by a ramp and stairs.
